Halfling

The short and slender Halfing's have long lived in relative isolation in their small corner of the world. They had nothing of real value to anyone else and wanted little for little that couldn't be found at home. A good meal, friends and family to share it with and a warm fire are all that drives the average Halfling.
As a race they are unusually fond of the very simple pleasures to be found in heath and home, with none of the insatiable curiosity of their Gnomish cousins or the wanderlust of Humans. Instead they have always been content with their rural lives.
This simplicity has meant they are not natural warriors and instead deal with conflict either through games, contests or discussion . When an opponent isn't willing to take part in these ways to resolve a problem, they can find it difficult to locate a Halfing for they have developed an incredible innate knack at hiding, so if a Halfling doesn't want to be seen, it can be difficult to find one.
