Personal history
In the community Quala was born and raised in, they were able to know when they were going to die by a series of numbers somewhere on their body, typically on their wrists. However, she - amongst a few others - somehow lived to pass their fated date. After moving closer to a doctor who knows why she has lived passed her fated date, a chest landed in her backyard from the sky. Inside the chest, were several crystals with different colors. As she grabbed the deep magenta crystal, a bright light of deep magenta engulfed her before it went away. Once the light had gone away, she checked in a mirror if there were any physical changes in her. After confirming there were no physical changes, Quala decided to see if there were any non-physical changes that occurred. During her investigation, she discovered that she could transform into a werebeast form - specifically a werecat form - and back to her human form. However, it was difficult to shift between both forms.
