Church of Oghma
The Church of Oghma is a large, single-story wooden building that emanates both history and reverence. Its sturdy structure is topped with a gray-shingled roof, weathered yet strong, symbolizing endurance and wisdom. Inside, shiny hardwood floors reflect the flickering light from candles and lanterns, their polished surface lending an air of refinement to the otherwise simple design. The church was once a barrack, and remnants of its martial past remain. A small collection of arms and armor is displayed reverently along one wall, now serving as symbols of protection and strength under the guidance of Oghma, the god of knowledge. Above the entrance hangs a small brass bell, which chimes softly as visitors enter, its sound welcoming yet solemn. At the heart of the church are the grand religious icons dedicated to Oghma. These include a towering wooden carving of an open book, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge, and intricate tapestries depicting tales of wisdom and discovery. The space is filled with rows of simple benches for worshippers, and the air carries a faint scent of incense, enhancing the tranquil and reflective atmosphere. The Church of Oghma stands as a place where history, learning, and faith intertwine, offering solace and inspiration to those who seek the path of knowledge.
