The Belly of the Beast

The sewers of Amberfall are a sprawling labyrinth. With them are many hideouts and dark corners where undesirables gather to scheme and plot. Among the most sinister, The Cult of Ubok'Yigg. Only a select few in higher circles of the cult, know of the headquarters' whereabouts. Hidden among the maze of sewers, a surprisingly kempt hideout has been carved into the belly of Amberfall. Led by the Open Lord himself, the Cult has little issue keeping the hideout's location secret.


Existing primarily as a means for M to get into contact with various members of the Cult, the hideout is only accessible from Malagaar's Manor atop Amberfall's highest circle. Here, the members in charge of relaying information and objectives gather to receive their orders from M. This allows for constant communication with the cult as they travel all across Lothlonde while Malagaar maintains a constant positive presence in Amberfall keeping up his facade.


The headquarters itself is rather modest when compared to Malagaar's own manor as it is very seldom occupied. There exist a few decoy rooms, if ever someone were to discover a way into the hideout either from the sewers or down from the manor. These rooms would, ideally, throw someone off to think that it was just another spot for lowlives and criminals to gather and gamble. Behind the veil, the headquarters has a few main rooms. One of which is devoted entirely to Ubok'Yigg. A ritual room with depictions of the Old God drawn on various surfaces and a sacrificial altar used in various ceremonies. This altar is also the cult's main way of keeping track of their current goals. Seven eyes are carved into the magical stone, five are open while two are closed. A very real representation of their progress towards resurrecting their god.
