Zombie Invasion of Thistlefort

Thistlefort is invaded by undead in the service of Noul'zadan.

The party was awoken by the frantic knocking and yelling of Hayden Read , the innkeep of the Forest Dragon Inn . Hans opened the door to see the man get stabbed by Jimmy, before Jimmy disappeared into the darkness. He woke the rest of the party, and they heard the sounds of battle outside, as well as downstairs, but before they could deliberate too long, there was a large explosion on the floor below them, and they were forcibly brought to ground level by that old enemy: Gravity. The inn was half destroyed rubble, and what wasn't destroyed was on fire. The town was overrun by zombies. The group sprang into action, and could see that the undead were being led by Undead Knight they saw in The Spire previously. They were able to start dispatching the giant zombies, and a well placed storm of fire from Mongoosed, killed many of the smaller zombies (which proceeded to explode), and they saw a great wrymwraith, and Jimmy riding on it's back. They were able to kill Jimmy when he departed the dragon, seemingly for good this time. The Wyrmwraith was a bit harder, being much harder to hit, and it nearly finished off Hans. Thankfully, Christie, who had been busy catching and saving orphans that were being used as projectile weapons by one of the zombie giants, was able to get off a powerful heal spell and they were able to dispatch the dragon.   They helped the survivors to finish off the rest of the zombies and put out the fire and heal those who could be healed. They elected to split Jimmy's body into different parts and keep them in different bags of holding in hopes that he wouldn't return again. They then decided to teleport to Moorsworth , to rest at the inn there and with hope to take on the spire in the morning.
