Shonga Jungles

The Shonga region of the Kingdom of Alfeari on the continent of Rishongi is primarily a coastal jungle. This area is filled with difficult to navigate flora, and dangerous and predatory fauna.

Geography

The Shonga Jungles are located along the southeast coast of Rishongi. It is part of the Kingdom of Alfeari. On the northwest side, it is bordered by dun-colored, rocky hills covered with sparse scrub brush. On the southeast side, it is bordered by the narrow Black Sand Beaches of the Shonga coast.
The jungle itself is located on a lightly hilly area cut with several small streams that keep the jungles humid.

Ecosystem

The Shonga Jungles are a tropical rainforest, with large, fast-growing plant life and a huge variety of insects, tree-based creatures, and large stalking predators.

Ecosystem Cycles

The southern locale of the jungles make them fairly static in seasons. There is a rainy season instead of winter, and the hot season is extremely opressive.

Fauna & Flora

Plants include: Konga Nuts, Panska, and Kaval fruit.
Animals include: Shaga'an Goats, Sleen'ka Pythons, Shongeeri Cats, and Keerian Jaguars.

Natural Resources

There are a variety of fruits and nuts that come from the Shonga Jungles, though they are often hard to find, as the people of the jungle, the Kong'sha Tribes, seldom open themselves to trade. One exception to this is the kaval fruit, which grows everywhere. This is the Kong'sha's primary export.
