Senara
Senara is often confused with The Senara, the region where it's placed.
Demographics
Senara is a solely human settlement. Most of the citizens are hunters of one kind or another, since food is so hard to come by. Those left focus most of their attention on providing warmth, preparing food, guarding the city, and trading with outside settlements.
Government
The town has a mayor who keeps Senara organized and running smoothly technically speaking. Under him is the head hunter, who organizes hunting parties, determines the best hunting times and places, and is responsible for the town reaching its quota of meat and eagle eggs for any given period.
Defences
There's a wooden wall around the city, two logs thick all the way around. There's an iron portcullis in front of each of the thick wooden gates, and the lighthouses on top are all equipped with buckets of kindling that can be caught on fire and tossed down on attacking animals such as Vollak. Each lighthouse and accompanying wall are patrolled by twenty guards at a time, who remain alert for animal threats, incoming storms, and returning hunters.
Industry & Trade
Very few come into The Senara to trade--or for any reason, for that matter. What trade is done is executed with a select few merchants brave and hardy enough to make the trip each quarter and by Senarans traveling into outside cities. The main exports from Senara are wood, iron, and furs; and they mostly import dried fruits and vegetables.
Infrastructure
There's a lighthouse atop each of Senara's gates so that the city can be seen by the hunters even through the snow.
Assets
Lots of furs and skins, pine wood in droves.
Geography
Senara is edged on its west side by mountains, on the north by the sea, and on the east and south by forest.
Natural Resources
Pine wood, iron, stone, Vollak, reindeer, white eagles, and wolves.
