Steele Estates

So named after Osmund Steele, an old and very wealthy council member who dedicated his life to building up the city for many years, he decided to build his own manor in this location and over time attracting many other nobles to do the same. Such is the notoriety of this district that the Sylphereni Empire at one point considered building a palace there and though the project was scrapped, ther is a Council guildhall built in its place.

Districts

As this is a district that is populated almost exclusively by wealthy folk, there is also a variety of social spaces and entertainment venues.   The Herzplatz, Diamantplatz, Spatenplatz and Centralplatz each have four subdivisons orund them, each labeled by the cardinal direction respective to the platz, except for the Centralplatz which shares the eponymous district which is also sometimes called South Herzplatz, and is also surrounded by the Raceway, Knight's Pass and Steele Manor.   On the border with the Old Town there is the Gilded Gates and the Jeweled Gates where many guild leaders and local nobles make their homes.   The Heirloom Quarter holds many summer homes for nobles from other parts of Aethoria, as well as the Council Hall that took the place of the palace that never was.   The Servant Quarters, on the contrary, are a more densely poulated, lower income area for servants and menial workers.   Providence District holds some shrines to lesser gods of specific, smaller domains.   The Stonegrounds are one of the few non-residential areas, with a large number of masons and sculptors.   Similarly, the Silver Springs and Aureate Avenue are home to some of the best jewelers outside of the Gilded Bazaar.   Winter Street similarly is home to many a renowned carpenter and furniture maker.   Nothegi Place is one of the few places where old dwarvish nobility choose to live in or visit on occasion and has a few artisan workshops of its own.
