Phex

Phex is the god of merchants and thieves in the The Pantheon of the Twelve-Gods. He met withRondra in 9699 b. BF, but parted ways with him one year later. He was the most potential candidate to replace Talvin in 'The Divine Four', however, he was not able to integrate and neglected following Rondra's plans and orders, which lead to the quick break up. His most common characteristic traits are tricky, smart, chaotic, greedy, charismatic, and agile.

Appearance

Not much is known about Phex's appearance. He usually is depicted as a male Human covered in a black coat, which is one of his most remarkable features. In some pictures, he wields small weapons, like daggers, hand crossbows, or other hidden blades.

Biography

Overview

Before his death, Phex took good care to keep his history as discrete as possible. Almost all information about him exists only in Rondra's journals. It is known, that he attempted to join 'The Divine Four' in 9699 b. BF, but left the group one year later. People say he returned to Lionstone and started to set the first foundation stone of a legendary rogue guild, however, that never has been proven.
People are also uncertain about Phex's death. Some say he still wanders through the world of Alendia as an adventurous merchant and legendary master thief, but a more common explanation is, that Phex can send avatars to the material plane, just like some other Twelve-Gods.
In 8815 b. BF, Phex was added to the Half-Pantheon as the god of finesse and fun. Only in 8801 b. BF, his aspect was changed to thieves and merchants by King Magnus.

Influence

Phex is a so-called 'Free God', which means there are no official churches or temples dedicated to him. He is more like a patron for merchants and thieves. However, those who worship Phex, mostly thieves and criminals, but also merchants and travelers, often call themselves 'Phex's consecrateds'.
Additionally to his godly power, Phex is seen as the founder and patron of the rogue guild.
