Biography

Magnus was born in 8997 b. BF, two years after his older brother Pritor. Since he had no right to the throne, his education wasn't as extensive as Pritor's. Due to this disadvantage, Magnus developed some kind of rejection of his parents and chose the life of the military over the life of a prince. He joined the military and made a quick career, getting promoted to a general eventually.
He returned to Lionstone when he heard about the results of his brother's disease in about 8810 b. BF. After the death of his brother in 8801 b. BF, he claimed the throne and was officially crowned on the 1st of Talvin 8000 b. BF. With that, he led the Human Kingdom into a new era. He made a lot of decisions, overthrew old traditions often just to change the decisions and laws of his father. For example, he changed the date of the official crowning of the throne's heir to the 1st of Rondra instead of the 1st of Talvin. His most impactful reforms affected the pantheon and the Church of the Sun. In 8801 b. BF, he added female deities to the pantheon, setting a clear sign to overthrow the dominance of the male gender. Later, he adjusted the gender of Gwenth and Ker. All of that resulted in a lot of trouble with the Church of the Sun, but Magnus gained the appreciation of the people with his changes. After the discovery of Rondra's journals in 8770 b. BF, Magnus expanded the pantheon even further. For further details look up the article about The Pantheon of the Twelve-Gods.
Due to his life as a soldier and general, Magnus had no wife and children when he claimed the throne. But to ensure his heritage, he married a noblewoman called Ireena in 8800 b. BF, resulting in 6 children; two sons, and 4 daughters. His oldest son, Thrilem was his official heir and claimed the throne after Magnus' death on the 6th of Talvin 8724.
