Toba
the First Dagmon
The Toba were, according to Dagmon myth, the first people in the world. In these legends the Toba were a tribe of 300 living in the mountains of Dadon Duul Hahad on the major continent of Dergonhad. In Dagmon myth, the Toba lived in a great endless grassland before the world existed. In the creation, mountains grew from the land like trees. When the world was formed a great sea came up drowning their peaceful life. The surviving members of these people climbed Dadon Duul Hahad to escape from the new sea. There, they found a fertile valley with abundant life. They settled the valley and were fruitful, spreading across the new lands they found themselves in. There is little else known of these people. This little information comes largely from ancient oral traditions, but the stories remain consistent across the many cultures of Dergonhad, thus giving credence to the legend.
