Rangers are not only scouts for military campaigns, but they are also the rare breed that venture out into the wilds of the world to stand as the bulwark between nature and civilization. They are the watchers of the woods, hunters for villages, mapmakers, trackers, and killers of monsters.

Rangers' server a diverse role in armies, societies, and Adventurer parties. They can stand on the frontline and fight with the best of them, but they are also skilled at sneaking past enemy defenses to strike vulnerable locations. Many stand a support, rather than brute fighters. They aid the healers and provide long range defense and attack. A ranger is one of the most diverse combatants on the field in any battle.
