The Daranoth Mountains are a small, remote mountain range, deep in Monanad, the Great Jungle of the South, in Jerain, on the major continent of Ethae. Legends claim that ancient the ancient society of the Canoheth and their mythical city of Anohei flourished in these mountains in the prehistoric periods.

The mountains were briefly sighted by Novya explorers of Monanad in 6624sc. What few records they included of these mountains, are that the range is made of rocky terrain covered in misty jungles. The steep cliffs and thick foliage made it near impossible to explore thoroughly.
