Titan Tech

Although the Titans and their forges have pulled back beyond the known reaches of the universe, for the most part, pieces of their technology- including many of their biologically engineered creations- remain. Though much of that is in the hands of the elusive remnants of the Old Vanguard or the modern-day RICEEs, it is certainly not uncommon to find some scattered across uninhabitable planets or in the clutches of beings who may or may not understand their true power.
Though Titans rarely interact directly in events, their inventions and meddling have greatly affected the course of history for many species, even if it was not always obvious at first. Their fighting of the Dragonbane by the creation of the Old Vanguard, while for selfish reasons, undoubtedly saved billions of lives and millions of species, sentient and not, from destruction. One has to only look at the stories of the Argias and Rosa Dervy to understand just how much they have also affected the course of history for many people with their own hands. And while many of their less alive artefacts are incomprehensible, the use of Soul-stealers has impacted on the cultures of more than one planet and the Locjanians have been able to figure out how to use, if not replicate, their power sources, aiding the expanse of their pacifist, scientific stations.

Complexity

A lot of Titan technology is not necessarily complex; the difficulty is in discerning the intended use and whether it needs other pieces to function. The reality is that most Titan technology is built as part of a system, and loses much functionality when removed from it.
