Stone Hunting

Concept Inspired By Orion Kelly's Video and Written by James Woodwright

Stone Hunting is a tradition partaken by Autistic people and those who are neurodiverse when they have their dianogisis.

Execution

The child is taken to the stone beach at Draurough and is allowed to wander the beach for stones they are to pick one of the stones up and feel it in their hands and stim with it if it feels right they return to their parent and they keep the stone for the rest of their lives. The stone and the person then has an emotional bond.

Components and tools

Physical items used for the rituals of this custom. This can be religious items, icons, narcotics, spices, foodstuff or simple a tall pole with colorful ribbons extending from its top.[ . . . ]

Participants

The participants are the parent who takes the child and the child themselves it is the child who picks the stone.
