Sulyafuj (Sool-ya-few)
The Sulyafuj, known also as the sun-spider people and 'those who hide from the sun' are a confederate of tribes who inhabit Sealtland and are known for worshipping the god Sadorn.
They are the only tribe in Sealtland to successfully implement irrigation and water treatment and live nocturnally to avoid the heat-derived miasma during the day. Due to their priests' abilities to turn lead into silver, they were able to create silver pipes for irrigation and their systems are highly sought out but complex and expensive to implement. Their main animals are aurochs and pigs. They are fiercely competitive and known as one of the Wasteland tribes who were absorbed into Lyonesse, but due to the Belena exodus from Sealtland they remain mostly independant.
They are sought after for their ability to turn lead into silver, and for their seasonal food markets during the winter. When the miasma is low they hold a night market of hunted and foraged goods, being one of the most proficient trappers in the Sealtland as well as using metal detectors to find valuables.
They operate out of a base built around the temple Sadorn's Hall in a Crowded Town, which is guarded by their military. The farmers and foragers are typically merchants, priests, and commoners who live a nomadic pastoral lifestyle during the warmer seasons and return during the winter. Since they do not typically travel with soldiers or an army, they will often bring mercenaries or train family members to be able to guard and fend off threats.
Like many of the Lost Druwits, they view Sheena as a Saint and opposed her excommunication.
