Armelle Maudra Borealis
Armelle Borealis, also known as Rosemary, is a central and often antagonistic figure in Albanos legend. She is one of the only remaining adepts of Rock Oil lithomancy, having learnt it before it was banned in the twilight of the Heno Empire. Her family, the House of Louet, were the final rulers of its collapse, during which Armelle was killed. She was found and made into an Aliruna by Sheena.
A creative and calculated mastermind, Rosemary is able to shape and control Korrigan and is one of the first to do so successfully. She plays a supporting role in the Murder Ballad of Ralhaz, and is the main love interest for Rianu Damoizel in Witch of the North. She is known for her blood feud with Mehrdat, who she views as responsible for her death, as well as her romantic ties with Sheena.
Others often describe Rosemary as narcissistic and manipulative, which serves her well when dealing with criminals, despots, and other such vermin; she is also known to be a womanizer and have misandrist tendencies. However, she is a deeply lonely and emotionally stunted individual with clear abandonment issues, and much of that is what drives her destructive and tempestuous personality.
