Ceowan

Ceowen (Belenaken for Chewed) is a small Earldom gifted to the Sunne family, a branch of the House of Larix descended from Herleva , the eldest daughter of Old Nick. Much of it was converted into a mining industry, in particular radium, silver, and iron. It is wealthy for this reason, though relies on hunting and trade with Blaec Gheal for food.

It is known as The Chewed Land as the soil is unsuitable for agriculture for the most part, which was realised quickly after several anthrax outbreaks. During talks to appease the Dolomedes under Aethelflaed , some of Ceowan was conceded to them.
