Personal history

It is unknown whether the Never Brothers evolved on their own or were created by Armelle's court. However, they are documented as working within the Queendom as early as 715.

Captain Toper is likely to have held a political position within Ankou due to his strong sense of nationalism. He was appointed to be part of the Koaneg Eskern Tournament census in 720, and was one of the jury for recruits.

He appointed Billy Noodle for the position of treasurer  for Armelle's army, possibly due to a bribe or because they were close colleagues. They were part of Dando's army and left with him for Fithere Mire after Armelle won the tournament in 730.

They parted ways with Dando soon after due to his alliance with Rhudd, Captain Toper leading the escape to Ralhaz. The name 'Never Brothers' was coined by Mallt, another highway robber and thief they met and bonded with once in Ralhaz.
