The Sandblasted sea

This enourmous desert comprises nearly the entirety of the south eastern portion of the mainland of Y Bydd. Stretching 2600 miles in its longest dimension and 1200 in its shortest, there are portions where one is over 500 miles from the nearest non desert area, and the northern half contains a dearth of natural oases. As such, an oasis, dubbed the Heart of the Desert, exists, where one is over 140 miles from the nearest other natural water source.
