34 years old, Leo Hanali is the 83rd duke of westumbria in a tradition stretching back over 2000 years. He is obviously sparked. He is the second child of his parents, the first boy. His sister retains some power as one of the counts of the land, but his other siblings are mostly just there. He and his sister are sparked, as is his youngest brother.
He became duke at the death of his father in the year 6120, when his father was 48.
His family retains the elffriend name, given to the 27th duke.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

He is a reasonable attractive, quite fit 34 year old man. He has the extra fat expected of royalty, but remains a compoetant athlete, regularily jousting in private.
Like most nobility, he has a small amount of elven heritage. His family has a slightly longer life expectancy. Their ears have a slight point tho them.

Identifying Characteristics

He was hit pretty hard when he fell of his horse as a kid. His nose is permantly slightly off kilter. It originally pointed the other way, but it was magically reset, poorly.

Special abilities

He has developed a rudimentary magical ability, able to cast a cantrip, but relies on his fighting ability.

In battle he wears full plate with his crest on a barded destrier. In court he typically wears a fine mithral chain shirt gifted to his ancestors. He is well trained with the lance, but can hold his own with his bastard sword. He also enjoys reading and is making his way through a series of tomes describing the rise and fall of the Tewodrian Empire.

Personal history

Leo became duke at the tender age of 19 after his father was struck down by a growth on the lungs. He had alrady completed his knight training, and so was seen as ready for the asignment.

Education

He became a page at 7, as normal, and became a squire at 13. He was sent to the court of the king to do this training and recieve his knighthood, where he actually became quite friendly with the Suthalbian duke and the current king.

Employment

He has been the heir apparent since he was born and his spark was confirmed. As such, his only job has been learning how to be a duke and being a duke.

Accomplishments & Achievements

The major achievenment of this duke was normalizing relations with suthalbia. The previous dukes had a rivalry, but now trade relations exist. Other than that, he is the 83rd duke, most of the cool stuff has already been done.

Failures & Embarrassments

He lost a port to Herulia. It was long contested, but the Herulians finally took it.
