High Speed Gnomish Airship

These smaller Gnomish Airships are used to rapidly transfer priority cargo, travelling at 20 knots, or even 25 in an emergency. This is mostly for internal use. Modern magic makes this not useful for anything but cargo and people, as messages can be transfered instantly. They always price their services precisely below the cost of hiring a spellcaster. It is also useful for going to random places, such as the side of a mountain for a minerology expedition.
Crewed by the same 5 crew as a standard airship, but they tend to be more experienced than average. This ship rarely makes multiday flights, so it is not built for endurance.

Propulsion

4 sponsons with 2 air screws each. Rotating up to 80 degrees each. Can run in reverse. Powered by oil burining, efficiency bumped with magic.

Weapons & Armament

Captain has as usual a hand crossbow, and there are a spare 2 for the crew. They are better armed than normal because they are more likely to be carrying expensive cargo.

Armor and defense

Same thin metal skin over wood, with auto-sealing gas bags.

Communication Tools & Systems

Speaking stone. They nescessitate a rapid communication system, and when they get to their destination, can act as a temporary communications hub.
