The Melyrian Empire is the oldest Kingdom on the continent of Elone. Founded by Adresin Melyria in the year 245. The Empire was founded through the conquest of neighbouring areas.
Legacy of Adresin Melyria
King Adresin Melyria is most remembered for the founding of his empire. He was very set in his ways and his traditional view has remained deeply ingrained within the fiber of the Empire. King Adresin is also remembered for his war mongering ways. Living to age, 756, Adresin managed to conquer almost the entire continent of Elone within his lifetime, however he also lost control of the land now known as The Laedian Dynasty.Current Empire
Currently the Empire is ruled by King Adresin Melyria III. Adresin took over control of the Empire 150 years prior. He ruled during the Bratha/Melyrian war and in losing the war did lose the faith of a large part of his population. Currently there are rumors of a civil war on the horizon within the EmpireThe King as Absolute Power

Culture
The culture of the Melyrian Empire is very archaic in nature. They believe that only men are capable of reason and are the sole inheritors to family fortunes. Women are meant to be seen and not heard. They are also to be presentable at all times. Most other organizations in the world view the ways of Melyria to be backwards.
Demography and Population
The population is mainly Elven, however all races are represented in minorities. Due to the long lived nature of elves, they reproduce less frequently. This skews the mortality rate into the negatives, however the population of the Empire is currently in no danger.
Education
Most education is privatized and privileged to the uper classes. Also, women are not educated past 6th grade level.

The war between Tilaine Bratha and the Melyrian Empire lasted 20 years. While originally Bratha's forces were underfunded and unorganized, Bratha eventually defeated King Adresin Melyria III forces, much to his shame
