Frey is one of the most notable and worshipped gods of the Imperial Pantheon because of the nature of what she represents. Although not all of her followers are fanatical or devout worshippers, for obvious reasons many people pray to the goddess for a variety of reasons, and most any wedding is essentially designed not only for the couple, but the goddess as an offering of the bonded souls, and in turn it is expected that if the couple fits one another well enough and the ceremony is pure, that the goddess will bless the couple with a happy and loving partnership in turn. As a result, no matter how extravagant, weddings are generally humble and very personalized to the couple to help ensure it's pure nature in appearance in order to bring it out within the couple more during the wedding, increasing the chances of Frey's blessing.
