Aster - God of Order
Aster – (LN/LE?) The god of order, punishment, and justice. Tasked with punishing those who commit crimes after death in his part of ‘limbo’. Often referred to as married to Zeriah, the difference being if Zeriah is the one to take care of those who pass on into the afterlife to their respective resting place, or takes them in if they don’t have a plane to refer to, Aster is the equivalent of the devil in our world, tasked with punishing those who committed crimes against the gods for the rest of eternity. He does not take pleasure in it but does so out of necessity and duty. He’s not evil, just has a traditionally ‘evil’ job.
Follower Recognition:
Aster is one of the lesser worshipped or appreciated gods in the pantheon, for obvious reasons. His 'wife', Zeriah, often gets the bulk of the worship and attention when it comes to death and passing on into the afterlife. You should hope you or your recently deceased ancestors don't have a confrontation with Aster rather than Zeriah.
