The Council of Nau
Qualifications
Members of the Council of Nau are individuals appointed by the leadership of each city state. The qualifications are decided solely by the them and each city state has their own criteria for filling the role.
Requirements
The required traits are as followed:
- Not a traitor to the country
- No active warrants for arrest
- Belongs to the City-State that they are elected to represent
- Has lived in the City-State for at least two years
- May not be of an age deemed a senior elder by the species of the individual
Appointment
Each City-State appoints the Councilor to the rank of their own volition and customs. Some require a lengthy and formal transition of the previous councilor to the incoming, where as some places just hand a piece of paper signed by the current ruler that says, "This is your sole job now."
Duties
The duties are listed below for the throne:
Lead the joint econmies & politics of Akun.
Act as the opposite balance to the Ruler of Akun.
Listen to the pleas of the people, and judge with the mind of moving inter-city growth forward.
Plan the safety of the paths, roads, and public stations outside of City-States & Towns and especially in unclaimed territories. Design plans to lead the next generation into greater successes.
Broker prosperity for the nation as a whole.

Benefits
Persons with the rank of councilor are exempt on paying the tax of their personal property. During the time in the role, they are provided housing & food.
Accoutrements & Equipment
There is not a standard uniform between councilors so that each may represent themselves as a person of their own people.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Causes of Removal or Dismissal may included but not limited to:
- Causing terrorism
- Breaking the law for a felony degree
- Animal Cruelty
- Proof & court judgement of Criminal activity (s)
- Corruption and disrespect to the role

The role of the Council of Nau is to be the one who listens to the needs of the people. The council are usually trusted with bringing future prosperity to the city-states.
