Krauss Landing is a small island settlement located at the center of Black Fathom Lake, bordering the Frost Peak mountains. From the first days of settlement Krauss Landing existed as an vital camp for explorers and merchants interested in the newly discovered caverns and mines of Bhir Lodur.
While Krauss Landing was initially seized by the Dwarves after The Tempest they quickly made their permanent home inside of the vast crevasse that would become Bhir Lodur. As the nation states settled and the trade agreements were signed Krauss Landing became less of a home for Dwarf kind and more of a trade hub for enterprising former slaves and merchants to exchanges goods and coin for the treasures that lie deep in Bhir Lodur .
