Batesian Empire

The might of this land knows no bounds, self-named as the strongest army in Akeroth the citizens of this kingdom arrive in order to train and become members of the royal army.   Some arrive as children while others decide to make the change later in life.   This land holds no alliances and no bad blood with any other land in Akeroth, this is to ensure all who come looking for training are treated equally.   If you need to increase your physical power, this is the place to be.   Batesian, also known as the City of Kings, is a city located in northwestern Akeroth. It serves as the capital of the Akerothian Army 'The Ruby Rebellion'. It is also the oldest city in Akeroth, possibly the oldest city of man that is still standing, dating back to the Era of Control.

Geography

The Batesian Empire is one of the larger cities of Akeroth and is located in a rather strategic location. The Batesian Empire is situated on the Yorgrim Estuary, which leads to the Sea of Ghosts. The Batesian Empire is built on the steep hills north of the Sunderval River in Casian, in a pocket area of the Jollin Mountains, which shows just how amazing the Batesians were in their architecture. To connect The Batesian Empire, to the southern river edge, there is a large stone bridge that towers over the Sunderval River. It is also the first line of defense in The Batesian Empire.   The Humans of the region had utilized the frozen land around them for various purposes, ranging from an Ancient Tomb of The Batesian Family to the Nightingale Armory and the various farms along the road towards the Birtou Pass and Baxfair. The Grand Capital of Witheters is one of the oldest cities in Akeroth, and it is surprising to see it withstand the test of time, looking the same as it did several thousands of years ago. The Atmorans had also created caves and catacombs underneath The Batesian Empire that are said to house the tombs of Vin-Dithak himself.   Witheters itself is vast and easily coordinated. The central district of Witheters is known as the Stone Quarter, which consists of southwestern The Batesian Empire and the main street. The Stone Quarter houses the town square in front of Nuxvar Hall as well as the Hall of Champions and the Temple of Emdros.   Various shops are held in this area among other businesses. The town square is in between each separate part of the city and leads to the outside and the Great Bridge of Anghor. The Gray Quarter, formally known as the Snow Quarter, has currently been used by the displaced Dark Elves from the province of Hyhill. The Gray Quarter takes up the eastern portion of The Batesian Empire and is considered the slums of The Batesian Empire. The Dark Forest is one of the most well-known inns in the area.   The district known as Valorstrad, which translates to the Avenue of Valor, is essentially the training district of Witheters. The Palace of the Kings is the seat of power in the city of Witheters and is one of the most massive structures in the region. It was built as a Palace for Vin-Dithak himself and now houses the greatest warriors in Akeroth.
