Caelumenta Fraternity

Bruxaria's Caelumenta Fraternity, often shortened to just 'Menta, was built for any students interested in the relationship between magic and systems of power. Member ambitions range from the highest eschelons of national governments to ethicists debating the morality of magic in military conflicts. Their members often host public debates on hot button topics in global politics, and also hold workshops for fellow students on things like public speaking, identifying propaganda, and the most useful cantrips for providing humanitarian aid. Tensions have been known to occasionally run high in Caelumenta's Perennial House, but dinner table discussions have mostly been– some would say surprisingly– civil.

Housing

Caelumenta offers housing to its members at Perennial House. Built to be equal parts stately and decorative, the shining white marble and columns drawing the eyes upwards are meant to invoke Silverquill's perspective of radiance, espousing the ways in which magic can inspire and uplift, and also expose evils. Radiance is the most common, but not only, Silverquill philosophy followed in the House. 
Despite "perennial" often being used derogatorily for certain political candidates, it was chosen for

similar reasons to the Ouroboros on the fraternity's pennant; for every government or system of power that falls, another always, inevitably, will rise in its place.
