The Bhasin family was the ruling noble family of Mulia from AE 568-695. Although they were formally deposed in Tanish Mudaliar's coup in AE 695, the family was kept in a position of power, being granted a hereditary administrant title which still allows them some degree of power over the region.Current Noteworthy Members

Much like the other former ruling families of Mahid, the Bhasins are related by marriage to Tanish Mudalier. Bijul Bhasin Mudalier, the younger sister of the current matriarch, Reszaia, is one of Tanish's fourteen wives. They have four children together. Please see CW at the top of the article before viewing this section.Officially, it was a consensual, albeit political, marriage meant to foster unity and peace between the old and new governments, but most believe this to be untrue. The quick, systematic way the marriages occurred suggest the women and their children are hostages, meant to ensure their families do not step out of line.
Assets
The Bhasin family is known to be quite wealthy, as well as having an extensive art collection. Ramnik Bhasin was known to have served as a patron for a handful of artists during his lifetime, commissioning a number of portraits, sculptures, and overseeing renovations and redecorating of the family's primary estate in Sindwargi, Riverwatch Manor.
Military
The family once had a standing army of approximately 11,000, but all were conscripted into the national military after Mudalier's coup.
