Oolian

Oolian is the southernmost province of the Empire of the Southern Sun, incorporating the tip and south-west coast of Caino and sharing a long border with Tirikan to the east. In the time before the Empire, a culture of seafolk arrived on the shores of the region, raiders and settlers from a fallen empire of islands and reefs. These invaders - mostly sea Elves and Seafolk - came to dominate the local population of humans and bullywugs to the shores of the river Ramulagh, where they clashed with the Chromates of the deep jungle in a stalemate that was never broken.
As a result of these roots, the cities of the province still cluster at the coasts, projecting power inland along rivers and roads into the jungles and swamps.
