The Satellite Pantheon

Everything that happens in Agrophon is either caused by gods or explained by gods. Because of this, the "conservation of energy" rule has a pretty intuitive divine equivalent. But something about the numbers of Agrophon's pantheon doesn't add up.   The Sattelite Pantheon is a theoretical collection of hidden gods who cause everything that's inexplicable.   Developments - Act III

The Signet Pantheon

The Satellite Pantheon hides themselves on purpose. Under Monarch's leadership, they reveal their hand as the true operators of Agrophon. Sculpted by the Signeadown, these warped mirrors of other gods reflect the fearful, combative way their creators see the world.

Signet Botryte

The goddess of death, and the best at what she does. She's fiercely competitive, spiteful of those who cheat death, and possessive of those she allows to live. Her powers include the following:
  • Guided resurrection. When she brings a creature back to life, she can make slight modifications to them, granting them abilities of her choosing and sometimes erasing others.
Signet Botryte is a bit of a rough draft. Her characterization is immature and unpolished, and says more about the signets who interpreted her than it does about Botryte herself. Eventually they'll create some new myths to reveal more of her character. Unless, of course, it becomes easier to change the original Botryte to match the image.

Signet Oscuridell

A mercurial artist who gleefully hacks away at our concept of life and order. When he draws near, signet-made jewelry lights up in sharp colors. The other signet gods keep him on a short leash, disapproving the way he turns communities into a hell of twisted and swirled creatures. His powers include the following:
  • Every action he takes on another creature permanently changes their form. The effect can only be reversed by divine magic, and only while Signet Oscuridell is gone.

Signet Picaro

The embodiment of threatening evolution, who changes his own properties to adapt to any situation, whether that means outsmarting his enemies or fathering a strain of obedient soldiers. His powers include the following:
  • After suffering harm, he can make himself impervious to similar aggression. He uses this to appear invincible, but if he tries to adapt to too many things at once, he may fail to back up his claim.
  • While engaged in a contest of skill, his own skill gradually improves until it's slightly greater than his opponent's. This takes some time, and he runs the risk of stretching himself too thin.
