Botryte
Once she was an obscure guardian of the natural order, worshiped by only the most studious druids and clerics. She was especially popular among necromancers who were unimpressed with the rest of the divine pantheon. She had no opulent seat of power, only a small temple in Brisa which seemed a pale imitation of more popular gods. This all changed when Botryte became the power behind Mass Resurrection.
God of Death?
Botryte calls herself a god of death because she's interested not in the passive existence of life, but in the advancement of the life cycle. She's proud to be gentle, prudent, and a little boring; in her opinion, death should not be an exciting ordeal. She's associated with the pale, muted colors and a quiet, calm attitude. While she has terrific bedside manner, Botryte isn't sure how to deal with her many vibrant followers.Creating the Second-Goers
Her role in the Mass Resurrection spell has revealed a new side to her. While the effects of the spell are chaotic, it's hard to miss Botryte's frightful creativity, which enables the strange environs and creatures in the spell's wake.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
