Serpent Foil
A silver and jade rapier, and the Mongoose Foil's twin. The blade and the hilt are linked by a colorful bracelet, locked in place by the sword's crossguard. The outside of the bracelet is textured with pictures of the shores of Kudo, and the inside with its oceans. A carefully rendered sea serpent, whose gemstone eyes gleam toward the user no matter how it's angled, is coiled around one third of the band.
The band has a loop of jade inside, and is the fourth diorama created by Loch Floe-Bogghurst.
Like the other dioramas, the Serpent Foil was created for the purpose of an Imprisonment spell. Technically only the jade band contains the prison, but if the foil is repaired using magic, the entire sword reconstitutes.
History
Its prisoners are dozens of faerie dragons of astounding physical variety, some of Picaro's first designs, created while his eccentric work was still restricted to the Feywild. When they found their way to Agrophon, they caused havoc out of a desperate need for entertainment, and refused to compromise when confronted by the Miscellany. They were sealed in the Serpent Foil, a little timeless playground, so they could stay harmless and content while the world moved on without them.
