Climbing Creek

This strange nook of the Shadowfell, though untouched by material creatures, is full of beautiful copies of ancient Ossifreyan buildings. The original buildings were largely dozed over: the elaborate castles were gutted during peacetime, and the palaces and gardens, useless testaments to ego and long-dead wealth, were dissolved. Because their originals are long gone, the buildings of Climbing Creek are in various states of decay.
Through this beautiful ruin winds a shadowy river of slag, the slipstream created by debris as the dark buildings slowly crumble. One vein of this river is the titular "climbing creek:" rather than pooling in lakes and ponds, its weird water continues determinedly on its way, even creeping uphill in some places.
Developments - Act II

New Dullar

Climbing Creek and its people are governed by Loambosk. Shortly after becoming a shadow dragon, she found Climbing Creek, faintly remembering a beautiful place in Ossifrey which she always wanted to visit, but which no longer exists on the Material Plane. She took up residence in a vast, empty palace, and restored it as faithfully as she could. Over time, the buildings around her, and even the flow of the creek, revised themselves by her will.
Once Loambosk converted this place to be more livable, the people she hosted took to calling it New Dullar. It's now a refuge for people who are no longer safe on the Material Plane, a place which is needed more and more.
