Agrophon
Agrophon is a vast continent, but when people mention its name, they're usually referring to the narrow livable area by the Ribboned Sea. Places farther from the sea tend to be more difficult to settle, so the peoples of Agrophon fight for elbow room around the single watering hole.
Countries in Agrophon
There used to be dozens of independent communities and city-states in Agrophon, but they all consolidated into nations eventually, often due to fear of their neighbors. This process began in year 0, but countries like Hendecy and Ornity weren't formally established until the 6th century, just 200 years before the Agrophon which is shown on contemporary maps. Because of this, Agrophon is now governed by massive but hastily drawn systems.Development is rapid and irregular
Through magic energy, divine influence, and sharing of knowledge from all over the world, territories and technologies in Agrophon develop at incredible speed. But progress sometimes has trouble spreading, and huge parts of the continent are stuck or forced to remain in the past.
