Menru Bazaar

Purpose / Function

The Menru Bazaar was created as a means for the Aridi to attract wealthy investors and traders into their country in attempt to sell inventions or ideas. As well as locals of the wastes trading whatever resources they had.

Alterations

Starting out the bazaar was built in the same traditional Islamic style that the main cities within the wastes were built with. But because of the lack of attention the bazaar initially received the look was significantly altered when the Jaffer family took over. Changing from a traditionalists look to a magnificent trading posts that in some areas feels more like an amusement park or carnival than a bazaar.

Architecture

Built using the same style of architecture that Sifeld was built with. As the years have gone by the the bazaar has been remodeled to have more vibrant colors all around. The bazaar has gone from being just a trading post to a cultural wonder of the wastes. Artist design the most beautiful projects they can muster in hopes of having them displayed within the bazaar. Huge ball rooms and feast halls exists within the bazaar and most importantly huge stages for the enormous variety of performances held here.

History

For the first few decades the bazaar was rather slow and did not manage to attract nearly the level of attention the Aridi were hoping for. As the years went by though more and more countries began to see the value of the technology the Aridi were producing and it slowly began to attract more visitors. The Aridi have always used the bazaar as a huge marketplace to sell whatever goods or services they could offer. It was not strictly just inventions and ideas sold here. The biggest boon to the bazaar's popularity was when the Jaffer family took over the bazaar. The family is an incredibly talented group of individuals when it comes to sales and showmanship. They would host events that would drive tourism not just because of trade but because people wanted to see the magnificent shows that were being put on. In the current year the Menru Bazaar is one of the most traveled to places in all of Agodale puling massive amounts of tourism year round.
