I took the liberty of adding this small page into this book, without my master's knowledge and approval. I have the utmost respect for my master, who call himself Aewydim Scibodaeth, and thought to add a few details about him, without endangering him. Know that this page is not written by my master, but me; his apprentice.
My master was a former professor in history and philosophy. He found himself searching for truth more than anyone, and started his research for this book around 35 years ago. Throughout the years he had several apprentices, whom he like to call his 'seekers of knowledge'. Today they are still bringing him some research, fully aware that he will not add anything about them in this book.
My master cares a lot for the people around him, and their safety is the only thing that matters more to him than the research and discoveries he does. Which is why there are so limited descriptions about the people contributing to this book of his.
I became my master's apprentice some 5 years ago, while I was still young. He always like to tease me by saying I am the laziest of his apprentices, but I know deep down he cares for me. And while he is getting older, he knows I will continue his work, though I truly wish he will set the last sentence in this book himself.

I really like the way you wrote this, especially with the quote at the top. It's short but it makes me want to know more about both him and his apprentice.
