Feywick

One of thee largest settlements in Levex, Feywick stands as the most popular gateway between the desert island of Memphan and the enchanted forest of Nibel. Taking the ferry here is the most convenient way for trade and travel to move between the islands, and here humanoids work to live in harmony with the natural creatures of the forest.

Demographics

Feywick is populated with an abundance of humanoids and good-aligned fey.

Government

Feywick is ruled by a mayor who is democratically elected and acts as a in-between with the various races and fey inhabitants.

Defences

Feywick has a small guard population, mostly made of humanoids. However, many would hesitate to attack the settlement, due to numerous different type of fey capable of jumping to the cities defense. Most fear the impact of fey curses, and Feywick has been know to hire out Anubite assassins from Lona when bothered by a particular group for extended periods of time.

Industry & Trade

Feywick is where the small villages that are scatter around the forest converge to conduct trade with each other, as well as to trade much needed resources of the forest to those on Memphan. Many fey seeking to explore newer technologies will trade magical items crafted in nature. The mayor of Feywick must tread a fine balance between the fey and the humanoids, to meet the needs of everyone while making sure not to abuse the natural environment.

Architecture

Feywick makes good use of its natural resources, with many buildings being created out of living trees or other plant matter. Traditionally, sandstone is imported from Memphan when crafting buildings of stone.

Geography

Feywick is located on the easternmost coast of Sarsusan, near the Black Root Burrows and looking across the channel that separates Sarusan from Memphan.

Natural Resources

Feywick mostly trades in wood products harvested from the forest and fish from the sea, but creatures from all across Nibel congregate at Feywick to trade, thus many different items can be found here.
