Dragon Titan Class

As seen in
Sauroposeidon has nothing on these...   More of a category than a specific species, these colossal creatures are apex predators of an order of magnitude greater than any previous lifeforms on Earth. Hunted to the brink of extinction or forced out of their native climes due to exponentially growing human populations, only a scant few of these creatures are encountered throughout Age of Defiance. With wingspans eclipsing a Boeing 747 and bodies big enough to sleep comfortably on the deck of a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, these Jurassic juggernauts are an awe-inspiring sight to behold. Most threats facing the Mortal Realm are simply unprepared to deal with these creatures, for those remaining are the most cunning, strongest, and longest-lived of their kind, outlasting their kin through centuries of experience or sheer physical might. Even invaders with superior technology aren't quite sure how to deal with something that can rip open ships like sardine cans...

Raurgoth

(Ruinhuriangoth)   The most recognizable and strongest of currently-living titans, this luminous leviathan serves as the ultimate Incarnation of the Inferno AnimArmor. With a mysterious assailant winnowing their numbers and having underestimated the sheer magnitude of the project they attempted, the Mystic Alliance opted to create a singular almighty Incarnation to wield the power of Inferno, and what better than a dragon. First appearing in Aftermath Ch. 10 "The AnimArmors", Raurgoth brutally dispatches Cerberus, leader of the Were-Pack, and fellow pack-mate Dair in short order. Anything he can't smash to pieces with his scaly fists or pulverize with his long tail he incinerates with his kaiju-like flame breath.

Because he is a living creature as opposed to the other Incarnations-which are spirit beasts-Raurgoth must hunt regularly to maintain his strength, and while he is able to absorb hefty amounts of solar energy via his reflective silver-scaled wings, nothing quite beats the taste of fresh meat sliding down the gullet. He has no compunction when it comes to devouring enemies whole, and when word spread throughout Mal Daggur's fleet of the titanodracoasaur's habit of swallowing Nobeyls, shell, spikes, and all, the rate of Thunthen surrendering to Thangien custody skyrocketed. The dragons prefer serving penance under Eyurodin, Goddess of the Forge, than winding up a meal for the dragon titan. Because of his size, Raurgoth cannot simply take a jog around the countryside to hunt and tends to sit by the lake shore gobbling up fish, much to Cye's chagrin...
Cyebrid flew high above the lake and glanced down, spotting Raurgoth hunkering at the shore with his head and neck submerged under the waves. He scowled and dipped down slightly, stopping to hover close to where Raurgoth's horns poked out from underwater. He reached over with the pincers on one foot and clamped on to the tip of the horn.   Raurgoth let out a high-pitched snort when Cyebrid swept his leg to the side, yanking the colossal Incarnation to the side with ease, sending a cloud of dust and grass into the air nearly obscuring him. Ryo and Rowen came to a stop midair, utterly aghast, Ryo so stunned at the sight he nearly forgot he had to keep moving his arms to stay airborne. The dust started to settle and Raurgoth erupted from the cloud hissing in rage, the killing fangs fully extended. Cyebrid floated close to the nose plate and balled a fist before bopping the dragon on the snoot firmly.   "STOP. EATING. THE FISH!" Cyebrid scolded and stabbed a finger at Raurgoth. The Inferno Dragon drew all four paws together and coiled his tail around his haunches, his eyes looking startled. Satisfied, Cyebrid flew away, leaving Raurgoth in shock.

Dragon Master

A lung-type titan, this incredibly intelligent saurian spellcaster hails from the Realm of Thorolk, a haven for dragonkind. As a member of the Council of Dragons, he spends most of his time at his temple keeping tabs on the goings on in and around the Great Chasm. His true name is unknown, and what he lacks in wingspan he makes up for in length and girth, a scaly subway train that snakes through the sky. First encountered in Yulie's Tales Ch. 1 "The Ryder and His Steed", he bequeaths his dragon pearl to Yulie, empowering the boy and White Wind to become mighty heroes and protectors of the innocent.
“Anubis says they use a special organ on the top of their head to fly, but Rowen says they use a combination of gasses to keep them in the air. Like hydrogen and stuff. He also says their bones are hollow and super strong and light, so they’re not as heavy as they look. They store gas in huge chambers in their bellies and use it to breathe fire,” Yulie explained.   “So…he is full of hot air?” Ko’li asked and began giggling. Ph’li covered his muzzle with a hand but shuddered with mirth. Even Drega broke out laughing.   “I heard that,” Dragon Master growled, his voice ringing with a metallic tone.

Vaugh (Vaughisdrough)

A rare Norwegian Thunder Wyrm, this titan initially took refuge in the Vortex Realm to escape hunters. The humans found within proved no better as Vaugh made the mistake of tutoring them in magic only for them to squander his knowledge on petty conquest. Encountered in Foes From Another World Ch. 9 "Betrayed", appearances are not what they seem as the Ronin Warriors drive him away only to be duped by the corrupt human king. Vaugh permanently departs the Realm, joining up with Dragon Master and accompanying the Argonauth into the Nether Realm. He currently resides there, a guest and friend of Nether Regent Lord Mabu and defends against aspiring conquerors. Unlike Raurgoth with his more serpentine physique, Vaugh has a stockier build and is a bit of a chonky boi...
“HO HO HO!! Look at him go! Splendid show, splendid show!” Lord Mabu crowed.   Vaugh swayed slightly as he glided, appearing as if to walk on hundreds of tendrils of lightning as he vaporized every Nether Soldier caught beneath him. Soldiers popped like lightbulbs en-masse as the dragon plowed a swathe of destruction over the plain. Despite his own hasty retreat, Baron Zelso ultimately wound up caught by the living storm as a tendril of lightning yanked him out of his chariot. He yelped and squealed hysterically, his body crackling several seconds longer than the rest of his troops. He hung suspended in air before finally exploding in a spectacular display.

At Large

Graunin

A shadowy titan of comparable size and strength to Raurgoth, the aptly-nicknamed Shadow of Spain was seen being captured by Anubis, then-Dark Warlord of Cruelty, and Dais, then-Dark Warlord of Illusion in ancient Scotland. Mardrena Lockehart bore witness to this but kept a low profile out of caution. Whatever fell purpose brought the two Dynasty Generals all the way to Europe and why they would need a dragon titan such as this remains a mystery, and Graunin has not been seen again in physical form since then...
An immense black form circled the area and flapped huge dark wings with sharpened bony growths poking out of the corners of the membrane. A deafening bellow blasted up from the throat and out of a mouth lined with teeth the length of a man’s arm. A tail almost as long as the entire body lashed furiously, slicing through the air with the axe-like growth at the tip.   “A dragon? I thought they were all gone! What would-” Mardrena glanced to the side when she thought she heard shouting. Two figures on horseback seemed to be chasing the dragon. One wore black gold and brown armor. The other wore maroon armor. “It can’t be…”   “Draw its attention. I’ll try to snare it!” Dais barked and veered away.   “Assuming it doesn’t eat you!” Anubis taunted and swung his chain. “QUAKE WITH FEAR!!” Hundreds of chains arced up towards the dragon’s legs. The immense beast wheeled out of the way and flapped its wings, each movement sending a gale through the area. “It’s trying to escape again! Do something unless you want us chasing after it another twelve hours!”

Corukourkon
This lithe four-winged wyrm serves as the personal mount of the Bronze King, one of the major antagonists of the post-Entide Ronin Warriors. Fiercely loyal to his master, the two are rarely seen apart from one another. While not quite as big as Raurgoth, his nimbleness in flight makes him a formidable opponent even for Vaugh. Unlike the Cursed Warlords, Corukourkon is independent and intelligent, acting on initiative to protect his beloved master.
Kyoryuu
A powerful skeletal dragon accidentally uncovered by a paleontological team, he is virtually indestructible and incredibly vicious. His is incapable of flight, having lost his wings long ago. A powerful spell by an ancient hero stripped him of his flesh and cast him into the ground, where he would lie dormant for centuries until answering the Bronze King’s call. Only Vaugh has been shown to be a match for him, being much larger and more mobile.
“Yulie, I have never seen a titanodracoasaur like that before. How can he fly with no wings?” Ph’li brought his mount alongside Yulie and pointed at the lung.   “Well…Dragon Master isn’t like Raurgoth. He’s a Chinese dragon, what we call a lung. They have the belly of a clam, the body of a snake, the paws of a tiger, the claws of an eagle, the eyes of a demon, the head of a camel, and the ears of a cow. Only, Chinese dragons don’t hear out of their ears. They have deer horns they use instead of ears. Anubis says they have over a hundred fish scales on their body and that most of them have good energy but some have bad energy. It’s because Chinese dragons represent the balance of power and wisdom."
— Yulie's Tales Ch. 3
Long, thin spines ran the course of its neck to the base of its tail, and several horns varying in lengths and thicknesses poked out from the back of its head like a crown. Two huge sloping tusks curled out from the back of its jaw with the points extending far enough to nearly touch the tip of its mouth. The dragon opened its mouth and electricity coursed from its mouth onto the tusks. It let loose a blast of energy at the mass, breathing thunder and roaring lighting.
— Foes From Another World Ch. 9
“ARROW SHOCK WA-gyeaaaaaaagh!” Rowen squawked when it felt like a jumbo jet passed within inches of him…only jumbo jets didn’t let out thunderous roars. The force of the immense form’s passing caused him to sink down in the air until he alighted back on the roof.   Phaeryn’s eyes widened and he and the surviving members of his Rank managed to steer out of the way of the luminous leviathan. Much slower air barges splintered upon impact with the wing limbs.
— Foes From Another World Ch. 16
Dhr yelped when the air platform shuddered. Outside, even in the depths of the dimensional vortex, Vaughisdrough and Dragon Master remained flying and one by one rammed against the Argonauth’s hull, keeping it from turning around. Dhr glanced at a screen indicating the vessel’s position and then back at Kayura. “Tell them to stop!”   “How?! They’re dragons! They don’t exactly have coms!” Kayura shot back.
