The Eastpeaks

The mountains east of Cardun is split into two sections, north and south. The northern section is known as Eastpeaks, which was contracted from Eastern Peaks and brought into popular use by the lowborn populace of the Kingdom of Gathion.   The Eastpeaks are not so secluded as the Westwards, and so are visited by more lowlanders of all types. They are, however, far more dangerous than the Westerwards. This is due to their ranging expanse far into the north being too vast for even the combined Keltoi and Wardens to ensure their safety from both natural and unnatural threats.   Despite its danger, the Keltoi of the Eastpeaks are among the richest of their kin, thanks to seams of silver and fertile soil. Though the soil is too thin for many plants, it does present good source of sustenance for the mountain cattle reared by the clans.   Notably, the Eastpeaks were the home of the Graegorach clan, whose most famous members were their chieftain Eochaid Cormac Graegor and his son Angus Eochaid Graegor. Their lands include Mount Graegor, one of the largest mountains on the Peninsula.   The Eastpeaks are known to be inhabited by the clans of:
  • Graegorach
  • Maeludach
  • Dalachan
