Ares Class
Ships of the Ares class are heavily armed destroyers with enormous firepower for their size. In favour of the heavy weapons there is no fighter defense or hangars. For crew exchange and supply, the Ares class has only docking clamps for passenger and freight shuttles.
Ares class destroyers are mainly used for fire support of larger ships or smaller fleet formations as they are vulnerable to fighter attacks on their own.
