Mishima Corporation

Leading Merchant Corporation, highly values trade and money. Somewhat xenophobic towards people entering their region of space, but otherwise friendly towards all other corporations.

Structure

Mishima Corporation is the most bureaucratic of the corporations. On the outside looking in, Mishima Corporation might look like a mirror to the Xin Kongjian Corporation. The CEO being a blood line descendant of the original CEO before leaving Earth. But every position below that has been chosen by the CEO based on talent, ingenuity and market savvy.   Lower ranked citizens are treated well in society but there is large emphasis and pride on making more money for the corporation and it's subsidiaries.

Military

Mishima does have a corporate military, they are well trained and expensively armed but they tend to focus on Corporate Agents in the field.

Religion

There is no one predominant religion in Mishima space, but most of the migrants from old Earth were either Buddhist or Hindu with some Christianity, this still holds mostly true today.

Agriculture & Industry

Mishima is most likely the the richest Corporation in space, often being the middle man in trades between other corporations sales. They are known to have the best Jump drives in space, both in efficiency and distance traveled.

Education

Education is valued by the Mishima people but doesn't come free after children leave highschool. Like many things here, any luxuries cost money and that includes higher education. While it does cost, it is regulated by the Board and it's overseers.
Mishimite Characters have the following traits when rolling their character:

  +1 to Intelligence
-2 to Strength
-2 to Dexterity
-2 to Endurance

  No negative DMs applied when moving into the Merchant Career
+3 Strength if Choosing Merchant Marine
+3 Dexterity if Choosing Free Trader
+3 Endurance if Choosing Broker

  If 2 terms are spent as a merchant, but switching careers, can remove all further -1 DM for previous careers but for every switched career Cash Mustering-Out Benefits are halved.

  Agent Corporate can only be picked if Character has never been a Merchant and vice-versa.
Picking Agent Corporate will give a character:
  +1 Intelligence
+3 Strength
+3 Dexterity
+3 Endurance
+1 Education
No profession can be picked after Agent Corporate Career.

No restrictions but have to pay fees based on any quantities that can be construed for more than personal use.

No restrictions.

Technology:
No dangerous technology such as nanotechnology.

Travellers:
Visitors must contact planetary authorities by radio, landing is permitted anywhere. Must have registered business purposes to travel anywhere or pay 5000 credits for Tourism Visa per individual. Typically takes two weeks to go through all the necessary red tape.
