Yes! You heard me! This business is made for you to give your trash a chance for a new life with a new owner.
One man's trash, OMT, is a large business located in Ellyn and is quite popular amongst citizens of the city, but also for the many visitors that come by. Being a large trading city with many trade routes connecting from land to water, lots of peculiar things find their way through the town roads.
Come, come! Show me your wares, and I'll relieve you of this burden for a small payment. But do come back to see if anything is in your interest.
The business model
If you have anything you don't need anymore, or just don't want anymore, you can, instead of throwing it out or gifting it to someone you don't like, bring it to OMT and we'll pay you a small sum for your goods! You won't earn tons of cash delivering all your trash, but it is better than destroying good wares. The staff at OMT are good handymen, and they will fix up your stuff, polish it a bit and prepare it for reselling! When they look presentable enough, they'll be presented in the store ready for a new home! Some old things get a new purpose, like an old chair can become a planter for beautiful flowers, broken ceramics getting fixed with bright colours or a ladder becoming a bookcase! The talented handymen at the shop know how to repurpose old stuff to give it new life, and they are mighty good at it.
