Sorda'an is a truly imposing figure, never so much as cracking a smile. He takes control of every situation, and he is known for being tremendously efficient with his command of the guards in Ashport, achieving complete coverage of the city without having to invest too much manpower.

Even though most people know Sorda'an as the general in charge of the House of Steel, he does have a private family life. Recently, his son was poisoned under circumstances that gave Baxton Mandrim leverage over him, somehow connected to The Flesh Artist. When Baxton died, Sorda'an's son died as well, which seems to have affected Sorda'an's work.
