Grem "Grimes" Linerider

Grem Linerider is the shady halfling bosun acting as engineer for The Channelhopper. The opposite of trustworthy, Grem never seems completely still, constantly shifting suspiciously, even when he didn't do anything wrong. He seems to habitually hide information and scheme, even for the most minor of topics.
Despite his shady nature, Grem is adept as an engineer, earning him a place on Captain Orcanus crew. He admits to regularly taking side deals to make extra cash, and doesn't mind if the task at hand is less than legal. As long as he doesn't cause problems for the Captain, passengers or the ship, the Captain prefers to stay out of it and not know.

Whom He Knows

• Captain Orcanus is both stern and forgiving, and Grem has worked with him a long time. As long as Grem doesn't cause problems for Orcanus, Orcanus won't cause problems for him.
• Grem is the only member of Orcanus's crew who is not taking time off to de-stress.

• Grem has smuggled drugs onto the ship.
