Warrior King Chames

Elder brother of Lich King Lysander, ruler of half his father's kingdom of Draakfall. Chames was unable to come to his brother's aid due to political infighting in his own country. He has suffered the guilt of his brother's transformation and subsequent grudge poorly, becoming an alcoholic. Nevertheless he rules his kingdom justly and isn't afraid of leading the charge on the battlefield when necessary. The political situation is quite dysfunctional since the incident with his brother, since Chames has developed a lasting suspicion of the noble houses of his country and they do not trust the king in his dealings with their western sister-nation, Graja'did.
Chames is married to the giant brewmistress Ikkaaluk. Their union was something of a minor scandal, since it was expected that he would choose a mate from among the contenders at Helvrenna's Trials. Ikkaaluk was in attendance, but as a seller of beers and liquors, not a warrior. Chames waited until the games were over before proposing to the woman, whose booze he had imbibed heavily throughout the week long tournament.
