Race and Cultures: Orc

Race: Orc (General, Northern Tribes)

General Description: There are many, many tribes of Orcs existing in the Northern Continent, especially in the East. Most are semi-migratory bands of hunters, gatherers, and raiders. They tend to be male dominated and lead by a powerful chief, warlord or shaman. Many of the know how of metal working but some make use of only wood, bone and stone weaponry. Many are devoted to Gruumsh or Thyrm while others are druidic.
  Common classes include the barbarian, ranger, and scout with a few warrior bards, hexblades, totemists, fighters, warblades, druids, and psychic warriors. Prestige classes include Black Blood Cultists, blood claw masters, eyes of Gruumsh, highland stalkers, Cragtop archers, dawncallers, dread witches, frenzied berserkers, frostrages, primeval, ravagers, totem ragers, warchanters and soul gorgers.
  Physical Appearance: Orcs are tall (6-6 ½ feet tall) and bulky (200-250 lbs) humanoids with dark hair, lupine ears, reddish eyes and upturn tusks. They have heavy brows, large foreheads, long arms and bowed legs. They are powerful and surprisingly quick. They prefer natural hides and mismatched armor for the most part. They adorn themselves with grisly battle trophies. Most braid their hair in some fashion, although some sport rancid dreadlocks.
Aging: Orcs generally live between 200 and 300 years but with magical intervention can live 500-600 years.

Orc Culture: Legionnaire of Arafel (Orc)

General Description:
The Orcs that make up the Legions of Arafel were formerly tribes of raiders and hunters. It has been more then 5 generations since that time and almost all traces of that heritage is gone. Instead the Orcs have fully embraced a disciplined and structured military life that brings them great success, wealth, and glory.
  The day to day interaction with the undead, necromancers of Arafel have left them very at ease with such things. They think nothing of serving an undead lord. Fallen soldiers reanimated are seen as given an honor to “serve again” those who become more powerful undead are held in even higher esteem.
  Orc Legionnaires are organized into their respected legions. Each has a home base, a citadel or fortress somewhere. There dwell the legions families, children, etc. Generally speaking, you don’t retire from the Arafel Legionnaire, although a few are given indefinite leave, a few desert, and a few are sent into foreign lands for some mysterious purpose or another Physical Appearance: as normal Orc for the most part but generally better equipped and dressed, uniforms and identifying insignia.
