Rogue

The Rogue is another very common class. Not everyone has a strong sword arm or impressive magic or mystical abilities. For those who need to get by with stealth, intelligence, and guile, the rogue is a good choice. Found everywhere and with just about every culture, the rogue thrives because of its versatility.

Weapons and Armor: simple weapon, hand crossbow, rapier, shorbow, short sword, light armor. Sneak attack: bonus precision damage any time opponent is denied dexterity to AC or flanked deal extra damage, only works on creatures who can be critically hit. Trap finding: may find magical traps or traps with DCs over 20. Evasion: any time a reflex save would indicate ½ damage, a successful save does no damage. Trap Sense: bonus to AC and reflex saves against traps. Uncanny Dodge: retains DEX to AC even if flat footed. Rogue Bonus Feat: choose from any Improved Uncanny Dodge: can’t be flanked, can only sneak attacked when flanked by rogue if the rogue’s total levels of classes that provided at least +1d6 sneak attack, exceed your total number of classes that provide uncanny dodge by four. Special Abilities: choose from following options:
  • Crippling Strike: foe damaged by your sneak attack also takes 2 STR damage.
  • Defensive Roll: 1/day when you would be reduced to 0 or fewer hit points make reflex save DC = damage taken, if successful take only ½ damage, full if failed. Evasion has no effect on this save.
  • Improved Evasion: you take only ½ damage on a reflex save you make.
  • Opportunist: 1/round make AoO against a foe that was just struck for damage by ally.
  • Skill Mastery: pick INT + 3 skills, you can take 10 on these skills at all times, may take this ability more then once.
  • Slippery Mind: the round after failing a will save against an enchantment affect, make another save at same DC to end the effect.
  • Feat: you may take a feat instead of a special ability.
