Og'Dulwark

The Og'Dulwark is the central chieftain of a Goliath tribe and they are typically the strongest Goliath of the tribe. Physical strength to a Goliath is very important, but an aging chieftain may keep their leadership if they are also wise and crafty. Experience is also very important and the Goliaths look for those who will strengthen their tribe, not just the biggest and strongest.   Many Goliath tribes do not always encourage the strongest member to become the Og'Dulwark. If they are particularly in need of resources or trade they may opt for a more charismatic and tactful leader instead. The Goliaths that follow The Necklace migratory path, for example, value diplomacy, tact, and trade, as well as being strong and able to defend the tribe.   There is no difference between genders for leadership in Goliath culture. As long as you are contributing to the tribe, and can defend yourself and your community, there is no concern about becoming an Og'Dulwark. As size can often be a factor, it is more common for males to take the position, but not in every situation.

Qualifications

Strongest in the tribe (physically most often, but depends on tribe's needs)

Duties

Maintaining the strength and unity of the tribe is of utmost importance to a Goliath tribe.
